WHAT TO WEAR:

Your child should arrive to dance class in a leotard and tights. Any color or patterns of your choosing is fine. Appropriate dance shoes for each class is needed and street clothes and shoes are strictly prohibited inside dance class. Hair must be pulled back off of face. You can purchase any and all attire at Target, Walmart, Academy Sports, and various online stores. A local dance shoppe is Tutu’s & Dance Shoes.

WHAT IS EXPECTED:

You child is expected to be kind and courteous to each individual in class as well as to their teacher. The teacher is expected to do the same. There is zero tolerance for abusive behavior, bullying, or aggressiveness. If you have any concerns, please reach out to your dance teacher.

CLASS SCHEDULE/CALENDAR:

Please be sure your child arrives to class on time. We ask that all children utilizes the facilities BEFORE dance class. Classes are short and we use every minute to teach and interruptions can hold us up. The class schedule follows along with Columbia County’s school calendar, all holiday/school closures will reflect our classes.

PAYMENTS/TUITION:

Each class will be held on the designated date/time according to the child’s age. Please make sure each session/month you have signed your child up for has been paid in FULL before class. Each month you are responsible for paying by the 1st of every month. After the 5th business day you have not paid for the classes you will be charged an additional $10 late payment fee.

FAMILY REGISTRATION FEE:

A family registration fee of $35 will cover every member of your family who signs up for a dance class. This non-refundable fee guarantees your child a spot in class. With the classes being small they tend to fill up fast!

DISCONTINUING CLASS:

If you wish to no longer attend your dance class, we ask that you contact the dance instructor to let them know. If you have already made your monthly payment and have attended 2 classes for that month you are not eligible for a refund.

ARE PARENTS/GUARDIANS ALLOWED IN CLASS:

As always, parents/guardians are encouraged to teach their child to be independent and therefore no parents are allowed in the class while classes are taken place. There are designated seating areas outside, please use them.

DANCE COSTUMES:

Each costume will cost $85 per child and will include: costume, accessories, and tights. All costumes must be paid in FULL by November.

WILL THERE BE A PERFORMANCE:

Yes! At the end of each dance year your child will perform to showcase their accomplishments.
